ALEJA Shopping Center, Ljubljana, Slovenia
On 20 May 2020, SES opened ALEJA shopping center in Ljubljana. The 150-million-euro investment serves as a mixed-use shopping and leisure destination. With 32,000 square meters of GLA, 80 shops, and a strong focus on F&B concepts, ALEJA Shopping Center sets new standards. The 6,200-square-meter rooftop leisure, sport, and recreation area represents a special feature. The iconic building marks yet another highlight in the city of Ljubljana, creating a new meeting place for the city’s residents.

As a retail partner of one of the largest urban developments in Europe, SES has provided the expertise for the utilization concept, the leasing of the spaces, and the operation of Austria’s first managed shopping street. By 2021, it will grow to a GLA of 7,000 m² and 28 shops, after which it will be expanded towards the north.
SES is developing a new shopping quarter, including a hotel, in Lienz / East Tyrol, which will be directly connected to the lively pedestrian zone in the city center. The center will contribute to the further strengthening of the commercial city of Lienz. Its GLA amounts to approximately 10,000 m².
Together with SPAR Hungary, SES took on this real estate development in March 2020. The retail park has opened in March 2021, including a modern INTERSPAR hypermarket as an anchor tenant and several shops. S-PARK park features a total GLA of 11,200 m² and 560 parking spaces.
2025 announces a brand-new look for KING CROSS. SES is investing around 40 million euros to completely refurbish and boost the appeal of the shopping mall. With this in mind, the forecourt also features in the plan alongside a new center and attractive outdoor eating areas. The existing shopping areas will be adapted at the same time alongside the creation of adventure zones and children’s play areas
